Thursday, December 31st, 2009

Does anyone have any good advice on how to handle a bad case of Sinusitus?
What is the best over the counter medicine?  Are there other ways to lessen
the effects?  Thanks!  +Mark O+

Lime/Lupus

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

I have had some things occurring in past couple years (not counting accident
problems) which has caused several doctors to ask me if I had or been tested
for Lime Disease and/or Lupus.  I know from tv that Lime comes from ticks
which I have had hundreds of babies bite me when I was small from hunting and
camping, etc…and i heard somewhere that lupus has a brown patch, which I
have a pale one on cheek, but what exactly are problems that would make a
doctor ask that and for more than one doctor to make comments that these two
things could explain some of my problems … what exactly are these
diseases/medical problems, and what are the symptoms? Hopefully I don’t have
these, and they won’t test now since concentrating on getting me stronger and
stop passing out, so they are testing more for this accident-related stuff,
but I am curious.

candida.albicans

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

Help!
Two years ago my wife was treated with antibiotica for a breast
infection.
Since then we have not been able to share a bottle of wine or
some good bread. This is, we believe, due to candida.albicans.
She is suffering stomach pains a while after trying to
eat/drink anything that contains yest or sugar.

Doctors in Norway do not accept the possibility of c.a. causing
digestive trouble and will consequently try to blame her problems
on something else.

Any information and possible contact addresses will bee thankfully
received.

Post to jan.han…@atik.no is delivered to my most used mail system.
Thanks in advance

Request for info (mj as a cash crop in Texas)

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

Can anyone tell me where marijuana ranks as a cash crop in the state
of Texas?  I’d like to know where it ranks and what other crops are
up there with it.

I’m interested in these figures in other states as well if anyone has
a list.

thanks,

steve

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & Insurance Co.

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

My sister has had CFS for about a year and a half.  Just this week
she received a sapiena telling her that her insurance company
was claiming that because she hadn’t told them about her mental
illness, they not only had to pay nothing more, but they wanted
what they had paid back.

She is as mental ill as any average person.  She does go to
something like the support group that is on the TV show
_Dear John_.  Now, I wouldn’t call that "treatment for
mental illness", but …

The insurance company sapiena mentioned that she was denying
going to Dr. Blah on such-a-day.  She never did, Her HUSBAND
did.  Another interesting, but could just be coincedence, is
the fact that her husband quit his job at this very same company
about a month ago.

So, she needs to fight this.  If you have any advice (other
than get a *good* lawyer), please pass it along to me.  If you
know of anybody that is from Chicago that has gone through
something like this, that wouldn’t mind talking to her, I
would appreciate that too.  I would even like to get some
lawyer reccomendations, but I don’t know if that is with
in the spirit of these groups.

Thanks in advace…

Re: Alaska's Marijuana Laws

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

In article <4…@alliant.Alliant.COM> e…@alliant.Alliant.COM (Eric Woudenberg) writes:

My understanding is that the laws regarding personal consumption and
cultivation of marijuana in Alaska are not the result of direct
legislation, but the result of an Alaska Supreme Court decision (sorry,
I cannot cite the case).  Alaska has a specific right to privacy in its
State constitution (so does California, BTW), and the justices of
their Supreme Court have ruled that personal consumption of marijuana
falls under this right.  It is a shame that we do not have jurists of
this caliber in California :~(  Also, there is a measure on the ballot
in Alaska to re-criminalize marijuana use.  I do not know what the
polls are showing, but given the level of propoganda that people are
exposed to WRT drugs in general and marijuana in particular, it would
not suprise me at all to see this measure pass.  I hope that the people
of Alaska will show their true independent spirit and prove me
wrong.
