access to site-censored newsgroups !!!

Please propogate this info to those people who don’t have Usenet
access to censored groups (e.g., alt.drugs) but *do* have ftp
capability.

The machine
lcs.mit.edu             (no. 18.26.0.36)
has ftp directories (eg., news/alt/drugs)
containing the last several days’ postings.  That site allows anonymous
ftp login: just use username anonymous and any password.

As usual, don’t all ftp that site at once, wait till off hours.

there probably a few sites that allow nntp connections from anywhere. i would
if my site had something a little less feeble than a sun3 as the news server.
anyone care to set up alt.drugs for anonymous nntp reading/posting?

I’ll bite, for a limited time talon.ucs.orst.edu is available
for the *known* universe to read from.  Posting, anonymous
or otherwise, is right out, if you want to post to
    news.group.silly.name, send mail to:

If my sparc doesn’t melt from the load, it just might continue.

I’ll feed anyone any newsgroup they want, I carry a full feed.
